Assistent for Baptiste Dussert
SYNOPSIS
It’s a spring Saturday night in Brussels. The weather is warm, the sun is setting, and three women—strangers to one another—are on their way to the same place: a concert at the Beurs in the city centre. But just before the music starts, tragedy strikes. In the building next door, a man takes his own life. We never see the incident on screen, but its shockwaves ripple through the night. The concert goes ahead as planned, and the three women cross paths—at the bar, on the dance floor, in the toilets, out on the terrace. They reconnect with friends, meet new faces. And little by little, this shared disturbance stirs something in each of them. It opens the door for them to speak—sometimes to a friend, sometimes to a stranger—about their own deepest traumas. Through the music, through the strange and haunting mood of the night—unfiltered, at times absurd, even funny—they each find a way to face their pasts. To loosen its grip. To let go.It becomes, in its own unexpected way, the first night of the rest of their lives.
